
Meet the people behind Blockly
Rachel leads the Blockly team and is passionate about accessibility. Rachel is currently working toward a Master's in Education at San Francisco State University. Outside of work she likes bikes, power tools, and fun facts.

Maribeth is Blockly’s Tech Lead. She helps corral our rowdy gang of 20% contributors. Recently she's been working on transitioning Blockly's repository, making it easier for developers to contribute to the project.

Aaron helps build the open source Blockly library for creating block-based educational coding experiences. He holds a BS in Computer Science from UCSB and worked on a computer science curriculum for young people.

Mike Harvey is a software engineer on Blockly at the Raspbery Pi Foundation. He previously worked at Code.org’s Student Learning team, and as a curriculum developer, professional development facilitator, and computer science teacher. He has been working with Blockly in different capacities for over a decade.

Joe is a product marketing consultant for Blockly at the Raspberry Pi Foundation. His work includes landing the Blockly product transition from Google, leading several product marketing projects, and driving Blockly Summit 2026 work.
